During my time at University one of the projects I completed was to design a luxury country hotel concept. We were given the brief to design a leisure/ lounging room on the ground floor of a hotel situated in the New Forest. We were asked to design something modern but still giving that country vibe.

The concept I went for was to pair rich, luxurious colours such as navy blue and mustard, with neutral earthy tones and materials. I thought a velvet chesterfield sofa, cow skinned rug and birch tree wallpaper were all perfect for this lavish New Forest Hotel. I have designed a space perfect from all ages. There is an area for guests to sit down by the fire place and read a book, as well as two pool tables and separate seating at the back of the room.
